"Be a Buddy, Not a Bully"
*This fifth "life lesson" is a good one.
*During the month of September we focus on "anti-bullying" strategies and ways to combat it.
*I found this video clip and thought the writers would enjoy it.
*We first talk about the lesson title. Then we will watch the video clip once or twice.
*The writers then spend several minutes recording their thoughts in their writer's notebooks.
*At the end we have a few of the students share what they wrote.
*The writing can include reactions, thoughts, feelings, and/or a story about the theme.
